I've been following Jon Rosenberg's Scenes from a Multiverse for about a month and a half (so, 75% of its existence) and it's pretty awesome. Basically, every weekday, Rosenberg takes us to a different universe, where the people look different, the society is scrambled, but the problems (and therefore humor) are essentially the same. To add a little spice to the proceedings, every Friday is a Repeat Destination, based on a user poll on the last week's offerings. We've been following the antics of Sciencemaster Adler (and his floating brain minion) for the past six weeks.
Rosenberg (probably best known for his thirteen-year run on Goats) uses the opportunities presented by a new universe a day to mix up the jokes a bit. Sometimes he's observational, other times political, and half the time he's just plain ol' absurd. Definitely check it out. To close, here's my favorite strip so far (your mileage may vary): Have You Seen the Lungports on Her?
