jetpack_monkeyWorking on an Evil Dead video set to the B-52's Love Shack for a year and a half, only on finding someone else had the same idea and theirs premiered at Club Vivid this year. The irony is, if I'd gone to Vividcon, I would've finished my Love Shack vid for Premieres. Now I have no idea what to do with my 80%-complete Final Cut Express timeline.

Date: 2010-08-08 12:20 pm (UTC)When I was uploading my non-attending premieres vid on Friday I was shocked to find someone had done my source to my song 3 years ago. Totally different take on it, but had I known I probably wouldn't have continued. Before I started I ran the idea for the vid by the musician who wrote the song and he gave me the green light to use his music. He didn't know about the earlier vid, either.
